Our supported lodgings scheme is hugely successful with transformative results for young people. Nevertheless, with waiting lists continuing to grow and move-on options limited, we are exploring other ways of providing accommodation whilst maintaining our intense levels of wrap-around support, underpinned by a clear therapeutic approach, in order to impact many more young people.
Therefore we are looking to partner with individuals and/or churches who have access to a spare (or available) property that we can rent to accommodate young people. Our model is based on Concrete Rose being the lead tenant (and guaranteeing a rental income) whilst the young people themselves would hold licence agreements rather than individual tenancies; the property is not then considered a HMO with the requirements involved. There is the opportunity for individuals and churches to maintain an income, whilst also making a significant difference to the lives of young people. Concrete Rose will provide support for the young people, and take on responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of the property.
